About Me

Born in Detroit, Steven L. Reed (also known as Scribbles) is a self taught artist.  Steven started painting at a very early age and soon realized that painting was a part of his life.  Everything painting expresses something special seen through his eyes. “I  try to create artwork that lasts forever, paintings that you will remember.”

Steven’s artwork flies off the shelves.  He has done paintings for numerous celebrities, including Detroit Piston players Chauncy Billups and Rip Hamilton, Tyler Perry and many more.  Today, you can find some of Steven Reed’s paintings hanging in salon and barber shops around the world.  Steven also does custom private and corporate paintings.

Steven’s latest work, “Salon Essence” graces the cover of Volume 15, Gold Edition of Prestige Hair.
